The hat feels good and looks good, after some modification. First thing I did was cut out the earflaps and took off the chin cord. Now it is even better. Wish it had a no earflap and cord option.

I purchased the hat as a gift for my son who had been wanting a hat like mine for some time. He was very pleased with it. The fit is well . It is just the perfect hat. I wear mine all the time, and although mine does not have the camo trim, it seems to be the same model as the one I just purchased. Great quality for a moderate price!

This hat is amazing before I headed off into the woods I gave a light spray of waterproofing as I do with all my outdoor gear and this thing kept me warm and dry. I absolutely love the earflaps that give complete ear warmth and protection and covers my neck a bit to keep me even warmer. The chin strap is a must for me so if I dont wanna wear it I can just drop it on my back. Its packability is superb. I smashed this thing into my overstuffed pack pulled it out popped to top and its shape was store quality again. Great outdoors hat. I did however see the sizing being a problem I was at the top end of the L scale so I bought an XL which should have been a bit loose but instead fit just perfectly for me so If your questioning what size to get for yourself measure your head and if its close to the next size up go with that.

I love this hat! For years I have worn a Bass Pro baseball cap. Served me well but I wanted something with more style and protection. I lost my Bass Pro hat three times due to high wind gusts. Once on lake Ozark and twice on open plains while traveling. In rain it left me exposed to get soaked and cold.
I have since been using the RedHead® Wool Felt Camo Trim Hat with Earflaps. First off I LOVE the look of the hat. Its performance...as far as being waterproof, not waterproof per say. The hat absorbs water but it runs off alll the rim of the hat. My head stays dry and that's all I need..
95% of the time I wear the hat with the chinstrap behind my head. The couple of times I've had to use
the chinstrap it kept me from losing my hat in strong
wind..
This hat is excellent. It looks great, serves its function
fantastically. You find a better good looking hat at this price you let me know.
