This is a really nice safe that has a long story. First, its a nice safe made by winchester (granite industries) that comes with a port to run a dehumidifer and has 4 bolt holes already made in the floor of the safe.
My local Bass Pro, in Cincinnati, didnt have this safe in stock so they found another store and had it shipped. it took about 2 weeks to get my safe in at the store. They called me, I came and got it and took it too my parents house. We put in up in their house and when we took it out of the shipping package my safe was JUNKED. It has a 3 inch dent in the upper left hand corner of the safe, the entire front of the safe was scratched and dented and the door was bent so badly it wouldnt even operate/open close correctly. The other problem is that my parents live 2 1/2 hours away from Cincinnati. So I called BPS and they called me back the next morning apologizing and told me they are supposed to inspect every safe before it leaves. They were really upset that the safe was damaged and wanted to make things right. Well........I gave'em a shot and they did! They ordered 2 safes for me and let me pick which one I liked the best to make sure my safe was PERFECT. And it was. So I picked up the new safe about a week later and took it to my parents house and put it up without a hitch. I loaded up the old safe and took it back. That was a bit of a hassle but the BPS associate called me every day to update me on the status of my new safe order and sincerely apologized......each time. It was a hassle taking it to my parents and back so they comped me quite well in return and even gave a really fair price on the safe to comp me for time, since I had to take off work to take it to my parents, and also for gas money. I also purchased a browning dehumidifier that works like a champ and now I have a set up that will last me a lifetime. Thats is REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE and while I will always be a loyal lifetime BPS customer. Thanks, sincerely, BPS.

This safe is made in china. Behind the door on the bottom of the safe is a metal tag stamped "made in china." You have to open the door completely and crouch down to see it. The paperwork for it lists the manufacturer as Winchester and customer support is also through Winchester. Hope this helps.
