this a review of my second pair of RedHead Wedge boots. The first pair out of the box where great, very comfortable and from all outward appearances a great boot until a year into the life of the boot, the toe stitching came undone. out of warranty out of luck. I thought I may have been too hard on the boots because they are on the ground outside 7 days a week. I decided to give the brand another chance. the second pair arrived (great online service btw fast and accurate) and I noticed the new pair had reinforcing stitching on the toes..there must have been a problem and they are trying to correct it.....this is good, this is how R&D develops better products. so I laced up #2 and away we go...6 months into my second pair the toes are hanging in there but both heel guards the stitching has come undone...imangine my dissapointment. I called customer service and they said "no problem bring them back for an exchange"....I am on my way to BassPro in Ft. Myers this morning but I dont know if I will purchase another pair...I may try a different brand...I did see another review that had the heel guards coming loose....judge for yourselves guess. I love the boot but it just needs to stay together.

I've had these boots for about 6 months now. They've held up alright until the last few weeks. First the heel cap started to un-stitch. Not the biggest issue. Nothing some Gorrilla glue couldn't fix. However the ankle padding has now began to rip apart from the leather upper. I'm in warehousing, and climbing ladders and and on concrete all day. this loss of ankle support is not good for that. overall lasted for the money and beyond comfortable.

A Great Boot and a even better price.. I am a bigger guy and must have a good boot since I am on the concrete all day ...I have had them a month now and They are doing a great job... Buy these boots, they are a good product and you wont be dissapponted.
