We did not purchase this bed for hunting purposes, but we were looking for a durable bed. Our dog has already destroyed six other beds (in less than a year) and this dog bed has held up. We can see where she has tried to bite/chew threw the bed, but she was unsuccessful. Would highly recommend as a durable bed.

We've just adopted another dog, and this bed has worked so well for our first dog (60lbs) for the past 4 years, of course we're buying another for our new dog! I love that the cover is waterproof because it makes spot cleaning easy yet the fabric is not at all scratchy or uncomfortable for the dog. And- the cover comes off and is easily washable as well. Our dog just has to lay down on her bed the second we put the freshly washed cover back on!

My Bassett/Beagle mix has been using this bed for 2 years and it shows no signs of wear and tear! We take it every where we go. The only thing wrong with it for us, is that it turns out my dog is allergic to cedar so we had to keep it away from him for about a month until the cedar odor wore off.

Bed works fine it is def. waterproof and smells good. Its not a chew toy.
