RedHead® Uplander II 8'' GORE-TEX® Waterproof Hunting Boots for Men
So I purchased a pair of these boots about 6 years ago and let me tell you they were the best boots I had ever owned. I was a land surveyor and put many many miles on them through the swamps of Florida. Well I ended up ordering another pair a few weeks ago and these are junk. They are obviously not the same boot. The tread is some cheap rubber. The soles slide around even if you have the correct size and they just look like cheap boots. For $120 bucks just save your money and get a different pair of boots. I am very disappointed in Redhead as a brand now and bass pro for even asking this much for these. Do not buy!

I purchased these boots exclusively for 12 years and am on my 5 pair. The first 4 pairs were rugged and the most comfortable boots I had ever owned. The quality of the last pair that I purchase was not on par with the previous boots. The insoles slide in the bottom of the boot making it very uncomfortable to walk on anything other than a flat surface. That being overlooked as a one time fault, the boots are no longer available in wide sizes. It's a shame, but now a long time customer will be forced to switch brands.

I hunt in SD every year (Pheasent) I do a lot of walking at times I have to walk through small creeks. I purchased this same boot seven years ago and have been very happy this new pair is a back-up pair. order them now you will be happy.

Like a previous reviewer, I found these boots on sale and am very pleased with the quality of materials and workmanship. The boots fit as sized, and are both comfortable and light. Goodyear welt, double and triple stitching, Gore Tex lining, and thick leather uppers with toe-cap, are similar in quality to features found on MUCH more expensive boots. While time will only tell how these boots wear after seasons of use afield, I am very pleased with them so far, and am considering buying a second pair while they are on sale.
