I bought this bag as a replacement for a similar type bag that I had used for 15 yrs. This bag is comfortable, has ample space for birds and shells in the pockets. No shell loops, or built in space for a water bottle, or d ring or loop for electronics. I think it needs two straps across the front, one at the pocket level and one about 6 inches higher. By doing this the shoulder straps will not slip off, which I find myself dealing with too often. The bag is rugged enough and I like the overall looks of the bag, just a few nagging issues.

I purchased this before an upland field trial. It was going to be hot and it was. I wore this vest and a t-shirt. Fit good not bulky. I like Redhead clothing. Notice in the picture im wearing Redhead pants

The vest is exactly what I was looking for to use hunting, plenty of pocket space and you can move freely while in the woods.

Complete review is pending. Bought the vest for a quail hunt. When I went to put the shells in the front left pocket on the first day of the hunt, 1/2 of the snap came off in my hand. I used the vest for the hunt. The vest delivered as advertised. It fits well and is made of a seemingly rugged (snaps excluded) material). I am going to take it back to BPS for exchange. If the customer serive experience is acceptable, I will adjust the review accordingly.
