Arguably the finest overall snake boot package a hunter can take with him in the field, the RedHead® Ultra Snake 16'' Waterproof Hunting Boots for Men is uncommonly lightweight for a 100% snakeproof boot. This rugged pair of boots utilizes a 900 denier Cordura® upper for maximum toughness and survivability, with all-over camo for complete concealment. Flex notches behind the ankle eliminate the stiffness you often have with many snake boots. The Ultra Snake's speed lacing system delivers additional comfort and quick and easy on/off. Ankle lacelock allows for custom fitting in a hurry, providing separate tensions above and below the ankle give the wearer a strong and secure fit. 100% waterproof construction. Comes with a removable orthotic arch support. Color: Realtree Hardwoods Green HD®. Imported.

I just received these boots and the RedHead Snake Boot Socks yesterday in the mail and put them on to go scouting for tree stand locations. Although they are stiff and need some breaking in, they were comfortable right out of the box. After nearly three hours of wearing them in the field in 80 degree plus weather, my feet were completely dry and comfortable. I thought for sure my feet would be sweaty from the thick snake boot socks, but they did a great job of wicking the moisture away and keeping my feet dry.
Thanks for a great product Bass Pro.

I ordered these boots for my son for Christmas. I had a pair not like these but snake boots. I would buy this type if I didn't already have a pair. I like them better than mine

I really like the boots. The issue is I wear a 14D in men's.The only size available was a 14EE...I did purchase these boots despite the issue of medium or wide width options.I'm hoping that they will work for me if not I will be out $100+ the shipping.

I have had no problems with walking across a fallen log that is our under water bridge. The water has come up to the top of the ankle but never more then that. Total time in the water crossing is about 3-4 minutes.A:Â

about 4oz, feels light, if you add winter lining it would add weight. VERY COMFORTABLEA:Â
These boots are very light the product information says they are 7 pounds my sneakers are lighterA:Â
I cannot say exactly, but they are considerably lighter than many of the boots I tried on before purchasing these. I have worn them for 12-15 hours at a time and do not notice any fatigue that would be out of the ordinary for those activities.Details:Â
Great boots! Can't wear'em without laces.Answers

The ones I have are not insulated, but with a thick pair of cold weather boot socks, I have spent mutilple hours out in temperatures between 19 and 32 degrees. I hunt in West Texas, so do not really get a chance to test them out in deep snow or sub-zero temps.A:Â
My experience with these boots is no, they are not warm in the winter with temperatures below freezing..A:Â
NO but if you buy the toewarmers then there are ok just dont walk through water because mine leakedA:Â
I rode my ATV for 30 minutes getting to my location to set-up to hunt in 23 degree weather in S AZ. I wouldn't trust them in the north or south eastern cold weather unless I had some VERY warm socks.A:Â
I trek around the Florida swamps in the winter with my wool socks on. Nice and dry. Dont know about the Northern cold, would look at an insulated bootDetails:Â
Are all your snake proof boots protective from all North Anerican snakes, and what about snakes not from North America.Thank you

Hank, I took a slight hit from a large cactus thorn (1"+) and at an angle. Other than that I have taken many direct hits from numerous cacti and avoided being struck. Very strong boots and would trust them to ANY snake in N America...exept a Python that would wrap my legs ; )A:Â
I would not play with cobras or big diamondbacks. A guy in my club was bit on the arm by a huge rattler walking through some palmettos.A:Â
I believe these boots will protect you from all poisonous North American snakes. However, many poisonous snakes in other parts of the world are tree dwellers, and these boots won't do you any good for one hanging out of a tree and biting you.1 of 1
