Bought these boots at the start of winter and they have been superb. My feet stay bone dry, warm and do not sweat like they usually do in other boots. Conditions this winter in the Fingerlakes region of NY, have been right back to normal{cold and snowy}. My feet have been perfectly comfortable. I didn't experience any of the problems others had with material bunching under foot. Although, I was able to try mine on at the store. Size twelve with a thick RedHead sock on my size 11 1/2 foot= Happy, happy, happy.

I recently purchased a pair of these boots for the winter. The moment I tried them on, I knew they were the right boot for me. Warmth and comfort were the two primary needs I was looking for and RedHead does not disappoint with this item. The side zip makes for easy on and off. Great purchase for the money.

These boots are a great upgrade from my camo hunters. They fit nice, keep your feet warm and dry. I like the souls and the ease at how they go on and off. One of the best boots I have ever tried and the price was great to top it off. A Big A+ in my book.

I have had no slipping problems in this boot.

Not sure about oil base material, but they provided me great footing on rock, stepping over limbs and logs etc. So I would say pretty good compared to any other boot. I like the way they fit and how light they areA:Â
Yes, that's part of the reason why I purchased them for my hubby who is a General Contractor and is in deep snow and icy ground all day long and he says these are the best boots he has ever worn and he has a TON of boots for winter but these will be he absolute go to boots from now on. I think I'll even order him another pair as a backup!A:Â
I have worn these boots in pretty muddy conditions with no slipping problems, also I have worn these tracking a deer on a loose, fairly steep wooded hill side with no problems.A:Â

Women could wear them, they are a bit roomy in design, best way is to have her try them on. They are very light weight and good traction. I love them!A:Â
Absolutely, I would just size down as with any men's shoe vs. a woman's shoe. Not exactly sure how that sizing works as I wear a size 2.5 in a little girls shoe which is a womans size 4.5 but in a little boys it's a 1.5 or even a 1. Bass Pro Shops is so awesome about making you happy I wouldn't hesitate to order down a size and try them, if they don't work return them for the correct size.1 of 1
