Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Value! After looking at all the display models in Bass Pro, this jake looked like one of the best. When i saw the price I picked one up without hesitation. Not a high end decoy but not low end either. Nice head molding and glass eyes. Decent paint with a tinge of iridescence. One complaint is the stake system, mine broke in the field second day in. Recommended. May 22, 2011

I think not so much submissive but relaxed and non-threatening. Should not cause alarm with mature bird. I think more upright, more aggressive posture tends to hurt you more than it helps most times with a mature bird.

I wouldn't say submissive. More like relaxed. When hunting I would suggest using both the Hen and Jake to attract the Tom's. Just remember to take the Tom before he takes your Jake.

Why would you want a submissive jake?

Submissive behavior represented in a decoy should come from hens, not jakes.

You'll want a feeding or strutting jake to make those toms jealous.

Absolutely not it is the real deal. My experience was that it almost stopped the 3 jakes that were coming to our calls in there tracks when the say the decoy at 20 yds. it did not prevent me from taking a 18 lb. jake.

Details: 
Are the Redhead turkey decoys on p. 4 & back cover of Spring Hunting 2011 the same or of different materials? They look exactly alike and the back cover price would be great if the same.

I haven't seen the book but when ordering make sure the decoys are HD. Compared to all other decoys that I have or have looked at, these are the real deal. When setting the decoys, position them 45 degrees from where you are setting. You will be less likely to shoot them.

Item number 24-404-098-00 (not 698) is a foam decoy and the other items listed (094, 095 and 096) are HD Rubber decoys. Thanks
