RedHead Trailhead Twill Cargo Pants for Men
Used to be the best!
I've owned many pair of the Trailhead Cargo Pants. However, I just returned three pair that I purchased within the last month. One pair I ordered online, the other two I purchased at my local Bass Pro Shops retail location. All three pair suffered the same problem. The right rear pocket had a tear form just outside the stitching (almost as if the stitching had weakened the surrounding fabric). Every pair had the same, identical hole form at the bottom outside corner of the pocket. Bass Pro was awesome about taking them back and giving me a store credit. I have one pair that must be two years old, and is still going strong. Something has changed in quality of materials. A year ago, these would have gotten a 5 star review, but now I'm only given them a two star as they still are very comfortable and functional design, but I won't be buying another pair for quite sometime. Too bad as I did love these pants.

I purchased a pair of these pants to wear for work pants. Im outdoors in extreme wet weather conditions threw rain and mud most of the time. These pants have held up all the way so far. I'm planning on purchasing a couple more pairs because they have held up so well. Although I think I am going to purchase the next size smaller in the inseam because my regular leg length seemed to be a tad bit long for me in these pants . Other than that I have no complaints.

Should know better - typical redhead
As usual with a redhead product... failure is not an option, it's a feature!
2nd time I've worn the pants. stepped up on the rear bumper of the truck to check a tie down... loud rip, and suddenly there's a gentle breeze! Big rip and it's not on a seam. just complete failure of the fabric!!!

FINALLLY! Great pants ... at a price
Now, I will admit up front, these are not inexpensive pants. But given how long it took me to find a pair of pants in ANY online outfitter that got reviews like these pants do, I realized that most other retailers have gone the "el cheapo" route. And while you can buy cheaper pants, I'm not sure you can buy better. For what you're getting for this product, the price is definitely fair.
FIT: I'm a 47 waist with 29 legs. The shortest pair offered is 30, and the waist sizes are 'evens only', so I started off trying one pair of the 48x30's. They fit well, and seem true to sizing (which for me is a bit big in the waist and a bit long in the leg). These 48's will give me room for layered shirts to be tucked in while still being comfortable. I joined a gym recently, so I hope my next 2 or 3 pairs will be 46's.
COMFORT: These pants are very comfortable. The good fit is augmented by substantial but very soft and pliable fabric that feels really good against your skin. The waist rides properly, and whether sitting, standing or moving around, they feel good.
STYLING: You can see that for yourself in the pictures online, but I'd have to say I really like the cut and design.
POCKETS: Two hand warmer front pockets, 2 large thigh pouch pockets, 2 smaller left side pouch pockets, 1 medium right side pouch pocket, and two backside pouch pockets (all pouch pockets are expandable and have Velcro closure).
