This hat is the best purchase I have made. It keeps the sun off the face in any kind of weather, whether calm or breezy. I think the most useful thing about the hat is that it will stay on your head even in a hurricane with the adjustable strap. Lovin' it.

This hat is what I was looking for.Light, large brim to keep the sun off my neck and face.I am an older fella and don't need the worries of to much sun.It's cool in the hot weather.I will put this hat to good use.

OK, so I figure I’ll risk 15 bucks and see how this hat works. Well, I have to tell you right now that for what I needed – a hat that would keep my head cool, keep the sun off my face and neck, and also not be in the way with my shooting and photography work – this is the perfect hat. The mesh lets in the breeze. The wide brim keeps the sun out of your face and off your neck. Just flip up the front of the hat and it is out of the way for shooting or photography. Plus, if you soak it, it will really keep your head cool. The elastic cord around the hat lets you tighten it up for a perfect fit or to keep it on your head in those windy conditions while boating. Plus the adjustable lanyard will keep you from losing the hat if it ever does blow off. Best 15 bucks I ever spent on a hat.
