RedHead® Tracker 400 Gram 8'' Waterproof Insulated Leather Hunting Boots for Men
Best Hunting Boots
These are by far the best hunting boots I have ever owned!
I used these for both bow and gun hunting this season and these boots passed the test.
I hunt in the north west part of the lower peninsula in Michigan. For bow hunting in mid October I wore a Redhead hunting sock with these boots and hunted in rain with temperatures in the low 50's with some rainy days. These boots kept my feet dry, warm and comfortable.
For gun season this year we got over 2 feet of snow with temperatures in the mid 20's to low teens. I wore a Redhead sock along with a wool sock. My feet stayed dry the whole trip wearing these boots and with the layered socks kept my feet warm.
I would recommend these boots to anyone looking for a good, durable and comfortable boot. The boots are versatile and the Gore Tex waterproof is top notch.

too much thinsulate
theese are very comfortable boots, same as the (canyon ridges) wich they no longer make. if they came with less insulation they would be perfect. 400 gram is just too much for every day use, and in my opinion too much for ealy season hunting here in mo.i would rather have uninsulated -200-400, in that order. but thats just me.

Broke on 2nd time to wear
Bought a pair at the Branson, MO store. The *second* time I went to put them on one of the eyelets popped off. I thought RedHead was a good brand. Will be returning them, but means I have to pay return shipping or drive 3 hours back to the store.
