Bought this bow 4 days ago at St. Charles, mo. The salesmen, Alan spent 3 hours with me making sure I was fitted with everything I needed to start deer hunting again with a bow. He made sure I was all set to go before leaving the store. It's been 24 years since I shot a bow and after 4 days I can hit the mark at 30 yds already. The bow is smooth and quiet and easy to shoot and operate. Can't wait till this fall to hunt.

I looked at many bows. This bow is one of the best on the market. They could have sold this bow for over $900. It is priced to sell. You will not regret buying this bow. The Toxic XT is very accurate and quite. There is not much vibration at all. It also looks great with the camo and black combo. I was told by a seasoned bow hunter that he would only hunt with two bows. The Toxic XT is one of them. The other is almost double the price.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LocoBonobo Hey hey hey great choice for a first bow
I purchased the RedHead Toxic XT package from Bass Pro shops in St. Charles, MO and shot a number of different bows and this was definitely in the sweet spot. In fact I'd say it was the best. Stable, smooth, crisp, quiet, fast, and very accurate. The sales person spent nearly 3 hours making sure I was completely outfitted and the bow sighted in to perfection. Make sure you have 1/2 day to spend when you go in to buy your first bow! Also make sure your budget includes money for the package, and more for accessories (as pictured, the bow package cost me $499, but a dozen arrows, field points, broadheads, a good release, and an economical carry case set me back another $318). It was well worth it though, after two days at the range, I was surprised when I consistently hit a 10" paper plate from 40, 50 even 60 yards my first week using the bow. I am glad I didn't pay for an $800 bow when a $400 bow fits me just fine. I recommend replacing the RealAPG camo with your own (real camo looks like one color from 60' so what's the point? the Army knows best--big splotchy patches works better, according to the sales tech at Bass Pro--Thanks Man!) I took mine home and promptly taped off the cams and spray painted it with automotive paint--looks fantastic! I also was surprised there wasn't more info online about RedHead bows in general, so hopefully this review helps you. This is an extreme bow for economy price--impressive, fun--looking forward to taking it into the field this weekend.

This Bow is well worth the price tag. Very smooth draw and supper quite. Shot a few of the competitors bows in this price range hands down best draw, and most quite. Slight down side is the Add On equipment is low end. The Bow itself is made by Diamond and Diamond is made by Bow Tech. Need I say more. Purchased the Bow from the Bass Pro in Gurnee, IL.. Chirs In the archery shop was very helpful. Set the bow up to fit me and could answer all my questions. All around great experience.
