Incredible Bow I bought this bow before this Archery Season. I had been using a bow I bought back in 1998. It was a good old bow, just not fast. Bass Pro Techs set it up and I was dead on in less than five minutes. Spent a month practicing and shooting my deer target at distances of up to fifty yards. Took a doe at 35 yards with a complete pass through. Two days ago, I shot my very bow buck November 17, 2013
Hey hey hey great choice for a first bow I purchased the RedHead Toxic XT package from Bass Pro shops in St. Charles, MO and shot a number of different bows and this was definitely in the sweet spot. In fact I'd say it was the best. Stable, smooth, crisp, quiet, fast, and very accurate. The sales person spent nearly 3 hours making sure I was completely outfitted and the bow sighted in to perfection. Make sure you have 1/2 day to spend when you go in to buy your first bow! Also make sure your budget includes money for the package, and more for accessories (as pictured, the bow package cost me $499, but a dozen arrows, field points, broadheads, a good release, and an economical carry case set me back another $318). It was well worth it though, after two days at the range, I was surprised when I consistently hit a 10" paper plate from 40, 50 even 60 yards my first week using the bow. I am glad I didn't pay for an $800 bow when a $400 bow fits me just fine. I recommend replacing the RealAPG camo with your own (real camo looks like one color from 60' so what's the point? the Army knows best--big splotchy patches works better, according to the sales tech at Bass Pro--Thanks Man!) I took mine home and promptly taped off the cams and spray painted it with automotive paint--looks fantastic! I also was surprised there wasn't more info online about RedHead bows in general, so hopefully this review helps you. This is an extreme bow for economy price--impressive, fun--looking forward to taking it into the field this weekend. October 29, 2012
Awesome Bow This Bow is well worth the price tag. Very smooth draw and supper quite. Shot a few of the competitors bows in this price range hands down best draw, and most quite. Slight down side is the Add On equipment is low end. The Bow itself is made by Diamond and Diamond is made by Bow Tech. Need I say more. Purchased the Bow from the Bass Pro in Gurnee, IL.. Chirs In the archery shop was very helpful. Set the bow up to fit me and could answer all my questions. All around great experience. October 5, 2012
Great bow, not great accesories I purchased this bow very recently but have already put 200+ arrows down range. This bow is a beast. Great arrow speed with a very smooth draw. The final hitch in the cam can make you wobble for a second, takes maybe 20 arrows to get used to. I must say the accessories are nothing to ride home about. After 20 arrows at the store I immediately knew I wanted to switch out the rest and the sight. I picked up a $40 TruGlo sight, and switched my whisker biscuit over from my PSE vision. We were shooting in a 2inch group at 20 yards no problem after that. For anyone purchasing know you are getting an amazing bow, with a very smooth draw, lightweight, and decent arrow speed. You will however want to switch out the arrow rest ASAP and the sight when you find something that suits you. Happy hunting. March 29, 2014

Draw length adjustment

Details:
Hello there, I have a 27 inch draw length and am just wondering what position the screws on the cam need to be in for this length. I went in to a Bass Pro today and then lengthened my draw way too much. Thanks.

A:
you set the cam up for 27 inches. look at the screw placement and if it is set on the 7 (27) then its correct and you have to remeasure your draw length for your arm.

Speeds are very similar. This a duel cam bow, the Outlaw is a solcam. There is no speed difference and the Fuel Cams on the Drive are much smoother then the Throttle Cam on system on the Diamonds. I own a Deadeye and a Drive.

We do not offer touch up paint online. However, you might try searching online Google. There are many different options from powder coating, spray paint, to hobby paint that you use on a model car. I hope this helps. Thanks
