RedHead Tourney II Jacket for Men
Looks Great and Budget Friendly
I was looking for a nice looking but affordable jacket for my swimming pool service company employees. This was perfect for both male and female employees. Friends and family have even complimented me on my jacket and now they want one too. I took my jackets to my local embroidery shop for my company name and logo.
This jacket helps cut down on the wind but will not provide enough insulation for the cold by itself. My employees usually wear a sweatshirt or hoodie underneath and use this jacket for the outer layer. I wouldn't expect much in staying dry in a down pour but it has kept us dry in light drizzle days.
You can pull the sleeve up enough so you can reach into water without getting the jacket wet. So after my initial purchase of 7 jackets, I've come back online to get more for new employees and probably a few for family and friends.

Very light weight jacket
I bought 2 of these thinking they would be like my other tourney jackets which are pretty heavy and quite warm that I bought at the end of last winter. From the pictures they look very similar. They are a completely different product and only good for temps in the 50's or so. Nice jackets, but not very warm. Mainly a good windbreaker type jacket.

First off this Jacket is noisy but wash it with some fabric softener and It won't be so bad.
Remember what you are buying this for. A light weight
jacket with some nice features.
The elastic cuffs are nice when you want to
pull up your selves to grab a fish.

Not like the old Tourney I jackets
I have a landscape management company and have bought the Tourney jackets in the past for years. This year I noticed that there was no Tourney jackets available only the Tourney II. I ended up ordering this 2nd generation jacket. It was not like the original Tourney I jackets. I was very disappointed, and so were my workers. My workers wanted the Tourney of the past. I told my men they were not available. They rejected these jackets. The nylon shell was not as thick or as durable. The cotton inside lining was not a thick either. Basically a cheaply made jacket compared to the old. Actually shouldn't be named Tourney, unless you call it Tourney Jr. Jacket. Tourney II should actually be an improvement over the Tourney I. Looks like Red Head executives were trying to keep the price point the same $39. As a business man and consumer, I understand price of everything (material and labor) has been creeping up. I would not mind paying an extra $10 or $15 more for the old jacket. Red Head... Please bring back the old Tourney I jackets, my company would be happy to pay $49 to $55 for the original Tourney jackets. I am sending these Tourney II jackets back. I would not recommend this jacket if your thinking the Tourney II is of equal or an improvement over the Tourney I. It will be a big disappointment and waste of time and money. RED HEAD EXECUTIVES... PLEASE BRING BACK TOURNEY I JACKETS!
I would highly recommend the old original Tourney I jacket. 5 stars! :)
