Rated 5 out of 5 by buyer5050 Very good jacket
Much heavier and bulkier than I expected, but also much warmer because of this. The reviews concerning the zipper are correct, but I think as long as care is given when zipping it shouldn't be a problem. Nice inside and lined outside pockets are also a huge plus. Don't hesitate to buy this jacket. I normally wear XL and probably could have gone with a Large in these.

Got this for my birthday last year and i must say that I'm very pleased with this jacket. Keeps me warm with just a t-shirt underneath. Love the versatility of the hood, lots of pockets, good fit (loose enough to fish with on),. my only suggestion would be to have adjustable cuffs on the sleeves, other than that... Super jacket, oh yeah, I've had NO issues with the zippers!!! Even better when you can get it on sale!!

I have purchased several of these jackets in the past, and are of overall good quality--warmth, many pockets, dry,...etc...however, withing a couple of years--the zippers break and cannot be fixed.

This jacket is just as described. I bought it for my son who is always outdoors. He described it as warm, water-resistant and perfect for staying dry.

Are they deep enough to hold car keys, a cell phone, a wallet, maybe a sandwich?Answers

A:
The two main pockets are not zippered but have a flap to keep contents from falling out. They are roomy, and could easily hold your car keys, cell phone and wallet, although I'm not sure you could get a regular Wonder Bread sandwich in there without crushing it.Top 50 Contributor

The Upper pockets have zippers on them and they are deep enough to hold car keys a wallet and it has an inside pocket for a cell. I guess a sandwich would fit. Although, I would be worried about it getting smashed. I've had my jacket since 2009 and love it.Images for this Answer

I seriously doubt that this particular jacket has been rated, but I would compare it to a thick, heavy hooded sweatshirt.Top 50 Contributor
A:
Not sure about the exact thermal rating but it has yet to fail me. Not sure if I'd take it snowbiling, but I use it when I'm using the snowblower. It's probably a medium weight jacket. Wear a chamois shirt underneath and you'll be GG.A:

Don't know the thermal rating on the jacket, but I wear mine on windy days with temps in the teens and the cold does not get in. If you were to wear a layer under the jacket it would be even better.A:
