Rated 3 out of 5Â by Gio1 Very Tight Fit
Overall this product accomplishes the goal of having shells close at hand for follow up shots. The thing I don't like about it is that it is very tight on mu Ruger Number 1, and will not be easy to take on and off.

Purchased a 12 ga carrier for a TC Pro Hunter slug gun. Product performed well but seam started coming apart after the first use. Could be too small for this stock. Value price is a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by EROHR2278 A GOOD DEAL
I bought this for my son, a hunting rifle. For the money, it's a very good deal. I looked at 3 or 4 others but were not made as well as the Redhead 7 round cartridge holder.

I can see the shells getting in the way looking down the barrel. Is there a left handed version?Answers
A:Â
Right hand only. However, if you don't use a sling, then you should be able to flip to the other side.A:Â
They do not come in a left hand model and cannot be just turned over and put on that way.A:Â
This is a universal design, just turn it to the other side of the stock.A:Â
just flip it upside down - shells will go in either directionA:Â
Well Jake, if I'm not mistaken, you can rotate it counter-clockwise so that the shells are on the left hand side of the stock.Top 10 Contributor

It will work on either right or left handed guns since the shell loops are open on both ends...actually works equally poorly on both. Hangs in clothes and makes gun unnecessarilly heavy.Top 500 Contributor

The shells are on the other side of the stock than your face so this will not get in the way sighting because the part touching you is thin.As for a left handed version, just put it on baskwards the shells will be on the other side.
