Rated 3 out of 5 by RichNY Good but not well built Good for holding extra rounds, just not made very well. January 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Zirbel Not Good This prouct is way to small. It wont fit over any of the guns i have, even my BB gun. i tried stretching it and nothing will fit. the small end is only 2 inches tall, I dont se how they think that will fit over a stock that is 5 + inches tall January 5, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Rock9 For a toy, maybe. I don't know what rifle stock this was suppose to fit over, it seems like it was made for a toy. I have the remington 770 whitetail pro, and the only way I would have gotten it on would be to tear it and re-sew it around the butt. Overall tiny and not very elastic. January 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by marcheb Handy, affordable and does the job The cartridge carrier is very easy to use and holds your cartridges very securely. Good quality and functionality for the price. January 3, 2013

A:YES, BEING ELASTIC IT WILL FIT SNUG AND HOLD SHELLS FIRM. BEST FITTED OVER THE MUZZLE AND SLID DOWN TO BUTT.
A:I believe Savage Axis has the same stock as Savage 111 trophy hunter. My guess it will not fit Axis also.
A:they work great have not had a problem with it slipping yet
A:if it is a slip on recoil pad then no i tried it with mine and it did not slip on.
Details:I can see the shells getting in the way looking down the barrel. Is there a left handed version?
A:Right hand only. However, if you don't use a sling, then you should be able to flip to the other side.
A:They do not come in a left hand model and cannot be just turned over and put on that way.
A:This is a universal design, just turn it to the other side of the stock.
A:just flip it upside down - shells will go in either direction
A:Well Jake, if I'm not mistaken, you can rotate it counter-clockwise so that the shells are on the left hand side of the stock.

A:It will work on either right or left handed guns since the shell loops are open on both ends...actually works equally poorly on both. Hangs in clothes and makes gun unnecessarilly heavy.

A:The shells are on the other side of the stock than your face so this will not get in the way sighting because the part touching you is thin.
As for a left handed version, just put it on baskwards the shells will be on the other side.
