I gave it 1 star so you would read this. Sorry.
The product is actually great. I just want to give a review and what to expect out of it.
My brother and I took his nine-year-old boy out turkey hunting this year in Missouri. Awesome time, first time out turkey hunting. We heard gobblers but came up empty.
We got rained on all day Saturday and stayed completely dry whether it was walking around or sitting on the ground, etc. Hours of rain and sitting on wet ground, totally fine. It was first time use as well so I can't say about longevity.
Sunday brought no rain. I ended up shedding the top and keeping the bibs on since the ground was still saturated and both bibs and jacket do trap heat nicely a bit when the sun hits you.
The major problem I had with mine was early on Saturday I got a huge tear behind the left knee moving through a dense wooded area, apparently caught it on a branch or something. I never felt it, my brother told me after we'd left the woods and were walking in open ground. The material is a little "catchy" if you have a chance to feel before purchase. That said, I still stayed dry for the rest of the day because it only tore the first camo layer, not the black second layer. So kudos really for still performing well when damaged. I just have no idea how to fix it correctly. I can't iron on a waterproof patch since I think the material will probably melt. Stitching will probably have to get me close but the material is squirrely enough that it might not work the best. Maybe a Squaltex guy will read this and advise?
Things I really like about them:
- Very, very comfortable.
- Good against wind, too.
- Comes in LT #site-only it seems# 6'3" 36" inseam LT is perfect. Large hits the crotch, XLT was WAY too baggy for me. 33/34 waist depending :)
- They fold/roll/cram very nicely and compactly into a duffel, backpack, etc. I think I could get them into my shaving bag if I tried hard enough and yet they are not "thin" feeling.
- The shoulder straps are the same comfort whether I cross them in the back or not. They were slipping a little so I just crossed them in the back, perfect.
- The ankles have draw-strings and snaps. I stuffed my boot laces up under the drawstrings and they stayed put and the snaps made the boot/pants area tighter.
So, I really like them overall but disappointed that they tore. Again, I was probably going where they aren't intended. Maybe avoid thicker underbrush if you can. Beyond that, they were perfect.

I wore these opening day of deer archery season in the rain and stayed bone dry. The second day it rained again and stayed bone dry. The third day we had a toad strangler and sitting in my stand in a puddle of water they did leak thru a little bit on the left cheek. Still better than any other rain gear I have ever owned. They are comfortable and as long as you don't have to sit in a puddle for hours they keep me dry. Two days in the rain since elk hunting and they kept me dry. Quiet material walking trails, jacket is quiet when I draw the bow. The only real drawback was the suspenders tend to slide off the shoulders. My wife fixed it for me by sewing a 1-inch chunk of fabric between the two straps in back. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. Hard to beat the AP camo up in a tree. The buck was staring at me and couldn't figure out what it was when the arrow zipped through him on day 5.

I bought these rain bibs, because of the good reviews. I want to personally say, that this is a terrible product. To me, 100% waterproof means 100%. Not 22%! I recently returned from my annual fishing trip to Canada and spent to whole week, wet and disgusted. What a waste of money. Maybe a bad one made it through the cracks. But when it says waterproof, it should be waterproof! Can I please get my money back!
