Jacket does not have a zip security pocket or inside pocket to securely store your wallet or body warmer packs.
When you are accessing binoculars or other gear from the hand warmer pick pockets you could potentially have your wallet drop out without notice. This jacket could benefit by adding a Zip security pocket on left chest with outside access from the wind flap so you can retrieve a wallet or cell phone without opening the jacket. And while you’re at it, add inside pocket to store a body warmer packs or anything else we need to carry. This is a hunting jacket after all, so add the features we need in a hunting jacket. Other than that it is a very nice silent 40 degree jacket. I would love it if it was also available in solid colors such as black or brown to serve as a casual everyday jacket. But don’t forget the much needed inside pockets. It would be the perfect jacket if it only had inside pockets as mentioned.

Hey all. I broke the jacket in, in about 40 deg weather and it was great. Took it out duck hunting last weekend and I was shivering. I had a base layer thermal top and shirt under the jacket and I was still pretty cold. Cold enough for my body to involuntarily shiver. It was about 30 degs out.
The jacket however, is made very well, and is extremely comfortable.
I normally wear a size l-xl jacket. Due to availability, I bought the xlt. The extra room was welcomed for mobility and did not hinder my ability to bring my shotgun up quickly. The extra length in the body was very nice too!

Purchased for the archery javelina season in AZ. The mornings were around 25 degrees. This jacket was very warm and kept me comfortable. I particularily appreciated the hood, which kept the wind off my neck. I was lucky enough to find this jacket on sale for $24.00, a great price that I couldn't pass up. Even at the regular price, this is a high quality jacket and well worth the money.

XLT stands for extra large tall, for men over 6feet tall, has longer arms etc. Maybe you made mistake and ordered the youth xl instead of the MANS XL.

Physical weight is around 2lbs I would guess. I bought one about a month ago. Very warm. Fabric a little noisy at first, I washed it then dryed it with Dead Down Wind fabric sheets and that took care of it. Good value.Details:Â
