I recently purchased a RedHead Scoped Rifle Case. This because the last one only lasted 42 years. But the new RedHead case is thicker and more protective of my Weatherby rifle. Also I like the sling so as to carry it in the field. I find this case to be an excellent buy.

Awesome soft case. Very well constructed. Interior like a nice memory foam mattress. Extra storage pocket on side a plus. Stout handles and a nice heavy duty shoulder harness.
I only wish I would have bought more to replace all my old soft cases.

Well padded, sturdy and not bad looking to boot. Not much else to say...... a good product at a fair price. Should serve the purpose for years to come.

I would not think so. Unless you are using a 24" barrel or less. That is in a pump or semi-auto. An over and under would not be a problem, unless you have a monster barrel.A:

I received a response from Bass Pro Shops customer service that this case will only accommodate a scoped rifle, not a scoped shotgun. However, item #38-897-631-01 will accommodate a scoped shotgun.1 of 1
