I recently purchased a set of long gun protective socks. They are worth the money, especially if one owns high priced rifles and shotguns. They keep dust out, keep your prized possession from getting scratched too. Also a good barrier against humidity.

These are designed well and work perfect. I bought both the sock for the long guns and the pistols, and they're awesome. Just wish I would have invented them.

Bought this to protect my "favorite" shotguns and rifles while not in use. Trying to get them in and out of my safe was difficult without dinging into another firearm. So I put these socks on my more "precious" firearms that I want to keep looking good.

Fine... but those sleeves can be used for bare guns only. If the gun is assembled with scope or some other accessories that increase the size, the sleeve won't fit well.

Yes, the socks (sleeves) will stretch over scopes. I have several rifles with large scopes on them and all are fitted with the socks. They stretch well and do not tear.

No, I have several scoped rifles, and it will not even fit over my smallest .22 with a small scope on it. Though it covers and protects my shotguns and unscoped rifles perfectly.A:Â
