Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked as advertised I live in the Dallas area and we do have humidity. I saw other reviews stating beads turned blue and they are supposed to. It's when they turn PINK that you need to re-cook them and that happened to mine as advertised. So far, so good. My container did start to get a few rust spots from the high moisture, so plastic may be a better material to use. September 17, 2007
Rated 1 out of 5 by Did not work Turned blue in two days and would not recharge. Do NOT buy!!!! August 26, 2007
Rated 1 out of 5 Poor Product Design Would not buy again, container lid should be screw on type, design is such that lid is held on with friction, and very little of that. Don't knock over by accident! June 22, 2007
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's ok I bought this a month ago and have had to recharge it going on twice. The second I've recharged it, it didn't work. I might have my safe in a too damp location (not by choice) and need more then one. I bought the 40 oz. Just trying to protect my husband's weapons. April 26, 2006

I left the can in my oven for 4 hrs last night @ 250. Maybe only a dozen or two only turned back blue. This is the second time I did this. I purchsed the product only 4 months ago. Do I have some bad beads and if so, can I return to swap out??

For better result's use a cookie sheet, this process take's about 1 to 1 1/2 hour's. Just pour the canister out onto cookie sheet, know this is a little more of a hassle to pour back into the canister, I use a plastic one gallon bag, but still is a bit of a hassle. Hope this help's.

Not all the crystals change color, and in fact, most of them do not. There are a handful of indicator crystals that turn from blue to pink. 99% of the crystals are clear and remain clear.

I poured the beads into a small baking pan, set the toaster oven to 250, and in about 40 minutes, all of the pink beads had changed back to blue. Piece of cake!

A:
You are supposed to remove the can when in the oven. To help speed the process, try putting them in a cookie sheet (with raised edges) and following the same process (also be sure to crack the oven door to draw out moisture).
