Instructions say to heat at 250 degrees F. for 2-4 hrs. until all the beads turn blue. I placed the beads on a cookie sheet as instructed and I can cook them forever and they won't turn blue. Sorry product!

I recently purchased a RedHead gun safe and figured I should have these in there to keep moisture out. I have not had any problems with it yet.

I live in the Dallas area and we do have humidity. I saw other reviews stating beads turned blue and they are supposed to. It's when they turn PINK that you need to re-cook them and that happened to mine as advertised. So far, so good. My container did start to get a few rust spots from the high moisture, so plastic may be a better material to use.

I left the can in my oven for 4 hrs last night @ 250. Maybe only a dozen or two only turned back blue. This is the second time I did this. I purchsed the product only 4 months ago. Do I have some bad beads and if so, can I return to swap out??Answers
A:Â
Not all the crystals change color, and in fact, most of them do not. There are a handful of indicator crystals that turn from blue to pink. 99% of the crystals are clear and remain clear.A:Â
I poured the beads into a small baking pan, set the toaster oven to 250, and in about 40 minutes, all of the pink beads had changed back to blue. Piece of cake!A:Â
You are supposed to remove the can when in the oven. To help speed the process, try putting them in a cookie sheet (with raised edges) and following the same process (also be sure to crack the oven door to draw out moisture).Regarding returns, please visit https://basspro.custhelp.com/app/an....
