Rated 3 out of 5 by Libster Rechargeable Moisture Control Recharges as advertised and seems to work. I live in San Antonio and keep this in my safe (approx 23 cf), which is inside the house, but have to recharge every other week or so. I'll probably look at getting something else to help keep the humidity to an acceptable level. September 22, 2010

Rated 5 out of 5 by SJGuns Great Product I bought my first one a little over a year and a half ago and recently purchased a new one for my other safe. It's great, about 10% of the crystals turn Pink when it needs recharging, then just put it in the oven till that 10% or so turns Blue let it cool and put it back into the safe. The only way it could be better is if it had a quarter or half turn top so you don't spill anything. If it was any other material you could not put it in the oven.. I love em! March 14, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by 11clint11 works for me I have used this product for about a year now and have been very pleased with it. I saw one review that said that "all of the beads should turn blue and never turned. Only about 10% of them are supposed to turn blue when they are dry. December 16, 2009

Details:I left the can in my oven for 4 hrs last night @ 250. Maybe only a dozen or two only turned back blue. This is the second time I did this. I purchsed the product only 4 months ago. Do I have some bad beads and if so, can I return to swap out??
A:Not all the crystals change color, and in fact, most of them do not. There are a handful of indicator crystals that turn from blue to pink. 99% of the crystals are clear and remain clear.
A:I poured the beads into a small baking pan, set the toaster oven to 250, and in about 40 minutes, all of the pink beads had changed back to blue. Piece of cake!
A:You are supposed to remove the can when in the oven. To help speed the process, try putting them in a cookie sheet (with raised edges) and following the same process (also be sure to crack the oven door to draw out moisture).

A:If you put it on a cookie sheet, it takes about 1-2 hours at 250 F.
A:2 hours at 250 degrees, then let cool for 15 minutes.
