Perfect Shotgun Case This case is the Perfect length for most shotguns. It has a nice handle system and a side pocket that is ideal for shells, choke tubes, or ear plugs. September 8, 2012
Heavy Duty Case I use this case to transport my shotgun to and from the gun club in the tool box in the back of my pickup. I have several cases, but this one is my new favorite, its made with thick dense foam and tough rubber ends that I haven't seen in other brands. I'm very pleased with this purchase and if you buy one you won't regret it either! August 29, 2012
Love it This case is simply amazing. It may look like a regular case, but it's not only well "armored" on the outside, it's nicely padded on the inside, too. It protects my Remington 700 at all times, and the case just looks very nice. I highly recommend this. April 19, 2012
Great Quality Case I bought the rifle case for a 24" barrel Benelli shot gun, 46" total length. It fits with a couple inches to spare. Looks like there is plenty of room for a scope also. The case is much wider than the picture shows, thus it will fit the scope. Very nice case with a shoulder strap and plenty of padding. I am very happy with the purchase. Quality materials! This case has a thick profile with plenty of dense foam, so I think it would be a bit cumbersome strapped to a saddle.

This picture doesn't show it will fit a scope. I have a side by side shotgun so its shorter and want the shorter case for it but not if it is built for a scope.

My 48" case appears wider than the picture shows, easiy fits a scope...maybe the shot gun 53" is narrower? I put a 46" shot gun in the rifle case.

yes, just keep the scope where the PVC is and you shouldn't have a problem closing the zipper.

Not likely its very flimsy.

A:
This is not a floating water tight case, but with that said I do believe that it has enough dense foam to float the heaviest of guns, it just might not be a dry gun once retrieved.
