RedHead Ridge Runner Waist Pack
Could use inprovments
Bought this bag and really liked it. It held all my stuff with room to spear, felt comfortable while walking. Reason for the two star rating is because the first time using the bag the left shoulder strap broke where it connects to the bag. After looking at the bag I noticed it has some poor connection points that could be better. If the company took a little more time on reinforcing the sewing they would have a good quality bag.

Purchased this pack to use on day hunts. Fully loaded at 10 lbs, I thought the pack carried very well, with good lumbar support. the reason for the low rating...A mile in the back country, the left front shoulder strap broke loose from the belt.
I purchased the Redhead brand to ensure I had a quality product I could depend on in the field. however, I will be returning for a refund and going with a different brand.

What happened to quality?
This was to be a Christmas gift for my husband. I had managed to get this and keep it a secret, which is not an easy task to do. This was to be THE gift and couldn't wait to see him open it Christmas morning! I thought I pulled it off. I mean, I got what he wanted. How disappointing to hear him say that the side pouches had been sewn on BACKWARDS!! I would have thought it just a mistake if I hadn't have read another reviewer saying their pack had sewn on zippers that were backwards. Now, we have to find the time to drive up to Bass Pro, which isn't very close, and deal with getting it replaced. What ever happened to the quality? Take your time and make sure that what you're presenting to your consumers is nothing but top quality. I gave three stars because it is a nice looking pack. However the one we have is not useable. Hopefully the one we get it replaced with will be a 5 star product - imagine that.

This is a great pack. I carry a heavier pack than most folks and I really really like the way it distributes the load. The pocket set up and the overall set up of the pack is spectacular. It's super quiet as far as moving and the zippers are quiet and seal really good. I have no complaints at all. I will point out something to consider about this pack.....I'm 6' 1.5" and 250 pounds and I have the draw straps on the Y frame pulled all the way up. If you're shorter than me you might run into a problem with the pack slinging to low.
