I love this vest. I have always struggled finding a blaze orange vest that was comfortable when i was wearing bulky clothing. But this vest is great. Very comfortable and the pockets keep your hands nice and warm.
The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was because the blaze orange fleece does shed. It's just a very tiny amount, but it does. But that is also nit picking. Do not let that turn you away from buying this vest.

I absolutely love this vest. It adds warmth and comfort to any outfit. Here in pa we need the blaze for a lot of hunting so the reversible sides are great. Great materiel and perfect sizing

Or does the vest run big to compensate for being wore on top of coats?

it doesnt run big....if ur considering wearing over an coat, especially a big coat, i'd buy a bigger size that what you normally would wear.

The vest is designed to be a mid layer or wore over the top of a base layer shirt... if you are cold weather hunting you will get better results by wearing a base layer shirt, then a vest, and a coat over everything... the vest inside will keep your core warm.1 of 1
