The Redhead 12v 7.5 amp cliptop should take 8-12 hours to totally recharge; however, to prolong the life of the battery, the manufacturer recommends the battery not be allowed to run down completely.

Depends on alot of items;i.e., how long you run battery at one time, drain on it, how often you charge the battery etc.. One of the worst things you can do is to let a battery sit and never use/charge it.

The Boss buck digital timers prefer a 12 volt battery. I don't know exactly what timer you have.

A:
Yes it works great for the two I have connected to it.If used for fish finder only it will last a long, long time between charges. Two fishfinders(Cuda300) draw only about .2 volts in a three hour period. It is also more than powerfull enough to power an electric anchor.
