I like this life vest with the mesh top. It is comfortable to shoot a gun in and is not as hot and uncomfortable like other vests. You will almost forget you have a life jacket on. I got the extra large size which is usually big enough for me with other clothing, but even larger would be nice for wearing over the top of waders.

The life jackets are comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. They do seem to run small and although I havent tested them over a coat and waders; I took the advice of others and ordered up a couple sizes. It appears they'll work out fine.

very nice quality for the $$. very comfortable. this has been purchased for a fall hunting trip and will be worn over a browning insulated hydro fleece coat size xl. i ordered a size 3xl which fits well.

Never made it to the duck blind since it wouldn't fit over my hunting coat. I seem to recall two small pockets, though.

2 exterior pockets with velcro closures.they measure 7 inches x 7 inches.A:Â
There are two 7-1/2" wide by 7-1/2" long (8" including flap area) 2-in-1 pockets, one on each side of the front, centered in the area where the belts/straps go. Belts run beneath the pockets. Outter pocket of each is net, then you have the nylon vest material covering the inner pocket.Details:Â
I'm checking out a life jacket for my husband to wear hunting. It says the largest size is 2xl but the comment letter says to order 3xl to go over hunting jackets. I need to know how big is the 2 xlAnswers

my husband is over 200 lbs & the 2xl just fits him. he doesn't wear it over hunting gear, though, just a t shirt. you in alex bay, ny? we go up there to visit in-laws, clayton, watertown. gorgeous region & we love it. hope this info helps & have a great day!A:Â
