We recently ordered this sock. The sock its self has changed some what from the last order. But that is the norm for us...when we find something we love, it is ALWAYS discontinued. We found the RedHead socks at a Bass Pro Shop in Nashville some 5 years ago...My husband has been hooked on them ever since...He will not wear anything else....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THESE SOCKS...thank you

Scent control in a sock? I don't know about all that. I will say that these are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. They stay dry and don't bunch up. You can't go wrong having several pairs of these in your sock drawer.

The absolute best hunting socks I've ever found. Especially if your deer season is early like here in CA where it can be warm. They keep the foot cool & comfy. Nice padding from ankle up & on the heel & front of toes.
I buy a new pair for each season to use just for hunting & wear last years pair for other activities. They hold up very well.
Provide great support. With the spandex/elastic material around arch & top of food seems to help promote the blood flow & support the inner foot bones & muscles keeping the foot feeling fresh no matter how much your hiking around.
Wicks the moisture away from foot, even after the biggest hike. You can pull the sock off and the sock might be damp on outside but your foot is dry.
The only downside I have found is that if you have weeds like hedge parsley or other type of hitchhiker type plants, the do catch on the outside of sock really well. And removing them tends to pull threads with it.
