This owl decoy worked like a dream. We had an early spring and so me had way to many nesting birds everywhere around where we lived. We even had birds nesting in vents and the mess they were leaving was too much. I bought two owl decoys and placed them on porches on both sides of my condo. The very next day, birds were gone! I have kept them posted for over a month now and the birds have not returned. Thank you, my owl buddies.

I really like the realism and the fact that it can be hung on a string as well as standing on its base. However, the description says "Hollow base for mounting on pole or stake". In reality it is hollow throughout and will fit over a pole or stake, but will mount securely only to a 4" post.
