I purchased this jacket and the bibs, and overall I am very happy with the purchase so far. I purchased it for the colder weather, December hunts that we see in Nebraska, however I wore it for three days last weekend (early Nov) and was very comfortable in it even though the temps were ranging from 30-68 degrees, simply by removing an under layer over our lunch break. I was very unsure about the thumbhole cuffs, but I have to say that I am a huge fan of them! I put my thin Under Armour gloves, then my wrist release and then slide into the jacket and pull the release out of the cuff and I end up with a setup that doesn't interfere with anything when I am bowhunting. My favorite feature is the pockets on the jacket. There is a standard pocket you can slide your hand into, as well as the standard buttoned pocket for items on each side as well, but then there is a large pocket that is essentially open on top for easy access to everything and anything you might need. I loved the easy and noise free access to all of the items I take on a hunt. The hood fits about as well as any hood that I have tried in the past, none of them are that great in my opinion. The only drawback that I have seen is the fabric likes to grab onto tree bark, making a very light velcro sound when pulled away. I had to make sure that I wasn't leaning up against the tree when deer were in view. I didn't spook any with the noise, but I assume you could very easily. Overall very happy, well fitting, warm and plenty of good storage for the money. PS- the new AP camo is AWESOME. Hope this helps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CWTulsa I'm a woman and bought it for myself
I'm a female who hunts (a lot). I bought this jacket for myself after I couldn't find any cold weather ladies jackets in the store, larger than a large. I like Redhead. I have bought some other brands that make camo for women and do not like them. I prefer function over fashion. I wear a ladies XL, and I like my coats to be big and roomy so I can layer up. I bought this in a men's XL and the fit is good. It's very warm, it's waterproof, and the back comes down farther than the front which I really like! It keeps the wind from blowing up the back when leaning over in a tree stand. The sleeves do make a slight rubbery sound kinda like a raincoat, but it's not real loud. The material does have a "Velcro" effect with tree bark, but it's easy to get stick-tights and sticker-bugs off of. Even though its a men's coat, I like that the collar isn't to tall, it comes up nicely and it's big enough that my pony tail fits down it without pulling my hair, unlike some of the tight fitting women's camo on the market. I like that the hood is detachable, I dont use hoods. I don't like the inner cuffs because I think they are to long and to tight. If they are this tight on me, they would be uncomfortable on a man. Also they do not have thumb holes in them as described. I plan on cutting the cuffs off because they are so long, they push my gloves off, there is just not enough room on my arm for both.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nicolas1 Good Jacket Overall
Still hunted with this in temps down to 25 to 30 degrees. Kept me warm with a heavy shirt and down vest underneath. I am 5-11 and 170 so not a lot of extra insulation. Bought an XL which allows layering for colder temps. For colder temps, I would wear a down jacket underneath.
Could get by with a size large if you don't want to layer a lot.
Not as quiet as fleece but quiet enough for stand hunting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by WillB29 Does what it needs to
It's Realtree and warm enough and has a detachable hood. Above that, it doesn't do much else. It doesn't have as great of fit as the pictures lead you to believe. The collar is too short and misshapen. The jacket is too short overall and really big in the midsection which undermines how warm it should be. Needs thumbholes in the cuffs. I cut them in myself. Regardless, I plan to take quite a few deer wearing this and the price was fair for what I got. If you want the "be all end all" jacket, look elsewhere. Buy in person to test out the fit.
