Not Versatile Couldn't stomach the price of the more expensive monopods. I see why now. If you're set up in a blind that doesn't require a lot of movement for different angles you'll be fine. Carried in and out of the woods and banged it all over without issue. But to adjust you need to reach down to the bottom of the stick. Try doing that with a rifle in your hand and being quiet. A grip adjuster with trigger would be much nicer. For the price this is ok if you're not needing to flexible. December 23, 2014
Be Carefule - not rugged Thought it was pretty good item - held up to back yard practice sessions. Had the mono pod strapped to side of my back pack. First time using in the field - Slung my pack into the bed of the truck ( my fault forgot it stuck up higher ) and snapped the head right off . Unable to use now . When I looked at it - found an doubled end alloy ( cheap ) screwing the V rest to the pole. I wasn't "That " rough on It - one bump and it broke - I'm going to drill the screw out of both ends and "JB Weld a metal rod inside to fix the problem . November 14, 2014
