RedHead Mesh Outback Hats
Bought this hat after wearing one for a week last year in the Keys, that belonged to a buddy of mine.
Using the "cinch strap", it stayed on my head even while the boat was underway.
It kept the sun off of my face, neck, and upper shoulders very well.
I usually wear a baseball cap, so it was a huge improvement in keeping the sun off of my whiter-than-white skin!
The only "gig" against this new version of the hat is that the chin strap quality is much less than the older version one that my friend loaned me.
Honestly in fact, it's really cheesy and of poor design and does not stay cinched in place causing me to have to hold onto the hat to keep it from blowing off in a mild wind.
I quickly replaced their strap with my own strap made from a heavier nylon cord and a spring loaded plastic locking mechanism that I had lying around.
That did the trick, now my new hat is every bit as good as my buddy's hat. (I just have to "break it in", and it'll be perfect!)
Now, my buddy can have his own hat back when we are in the Keys!

Bough this hat at local Dsm Bass Pro, i have to admit I bought on looks primarily, after seeing similar on t.v. hunting program. But it lives up to some of the other reviews, fit seems true brim is wide. The only small complaint might be carrying a gun on my shoulder it occasionally bumps that wide brim. It is cool thru the mesh, good primarily for early season pheasants here in IA, it may be more of a southern quail hunting hat.

Great for working outside in the hot Florida sun or other outside activities.

This is my 2nd hat. The 1st one I lost to my dad. Love the wide brim.
