I actually bought 4 pairs at the same time. The packaging says wash warm but there was some shrinkage. Suggest wash cold and low dry. Still comfortable and warm for Colorado mornings. Good value.

These are thinner than I like and there is only 15% merino wool in the sock material. An ok sock but not for serious hiking. I won't use these when hiking and will stick to my 100% merino wool socks.

I bought a pair of these socks about 7 years ago. They have always been a go-to sock for cool weather or day hikes, but I have been wearing them constantly this winter. They are incredibly warm and after 7 years of use are only now starting to show signs of wear.

Very good socks,good fit, maintain shape and size and wash well. As I have a specific need for more cushion; I had hoped they would have been thicker on the sole. This is the only reason they didn't receive 5 stars

I really like the RedHead Merino Hiking socks for men. Its just right for the winters in So-Cal, but just to warm for the summers.Is there a summer version of this sock?

No- You will have to find a thinner polypopylene liner. I have a few pair, but don't like them as much as the thicker weight. The thin variety tends to slide down.
