This item is good for throwing in your pack for emergencies or chilly lightrainning weather. Its small carrying bag is perfect for packing in my bag and forgetting about it,till I need it.

Wore this to watch high school football in the rain and found out that it's not very good for sitting in the rain since the zipper does not have a storm flap on the outside. There's a flap under the zipper but if you are sitting down it dumps the water right in your lap. The pockets are open mesh so my wallet got soaked in the front pocket. This raingear probably works okay if you are standing up, but not when you are sitting down.

This product is light, packable, and silent and will protect you in light rain, but in heavy rain it soaks through. I've used this for a full year now but am looking for an alternative because this cannot be depended on for backcountry use.
