RedHead Knife/Tool Sheath
dont waste money
Bought this for my leatherman and I have gone through 2 in 9 mos. Belt loop is poorly stitched and has torn loose both times. Just go ahead and order a leather one from the knife/tool manufacturer if available

This is the second one of these I've bought. The first lasted longer than the latest. It was less than a month and both the horizontal and vertical belt loops on this sheath came off at one end... Effectively rendering the sheath useless.
It's nice that it's not expensive, but I'd expect it to last longer than a month. Hopefully the most recent was just a fluke, but, the previous version had the same fault, but lasted a reasonable length of time.
I am using it for my large Swiss Army Knife. It fits the sheath perfectly. It just needs loops that last.

I have gone thru three of the small size sheaths. They fit small multi-tools well, and the outside resists wear; but the single line of stitching for the standard belt loop blows out. The first one made it a couple month of daily use, second broke in a week and the third about a month. Looks like an additional half inch of fabric at each end and a second run of stitch might solve the problem.

Didn't make it though the 1st day
I purchased this for a folding knife in spite of the reviews about the belt loop stitching. It fit the knife fine, nice and secure. I put the sheath on my belt and later in the evening I snagged the sheath on the seat of a car getting in and ripped the stitching right off the loop. I thought I might at least make it through the end of hunting season.
