Rated 1 out of 5 by RedHead Hat Wothless I purchased a RedHead Jones hunting hat which has turned out to be worthless. Previously you could buy the size you wanted but now it's one size fits all (except it doesn't). The hat has an elastic band which is supposed to stretch to fit every head, but instead it just pushes the cap upward until it falls off your head! Besides it was too tight to start with (I normally wear a 7 1/4). September 25, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by bang-up-job i purchased this cap because i had an old-style one long ago and another company's ratings were so-so. my only criteria was that it be waterproof and have a reasonably light-colored pattern. being one-size-fits-most was a plus as internet sizing can be tricky. i will trust gore-tex for being waterproof. the insulation works very well at a windy 50* F. it is ok inside at 70 *F. the color is as pictured. maybe a bit darker than i would liked and a trace of green would have been nice. the fit is very good for a normal large-sized head. it would be good for either smaller or larger heads, but not to extremes. a plus is that the brim can be rolled to please -- ie. the front and back down with the sides up. and, there are earflaps if you like them. for me, redhead has done a bang-up-job on this hat.
