I bought these gloves with the intent of using them with my 1895SBL Marlin over-sized loop lever action... they fit the loop and trigger guard like they were made for each other in size Large/ExtraLarge!!!! Any larger glove might be a problem. Warm as warm can be... quiet too!!! I've used mittens with access to the trigger finger and simply was never satisfied with them; and I do not like the idea of taking off a glove to shoot, as it is time consuming and unnecessary movement; not to mention eliminating the possibility of getting off a quick snap-shot!!! Just a magnificent glove for my purposes!!!

The gloves r warm, alittle thick for shooting but I just pull one of gloves off when the time is right. It's about keeping ur hands warm. I hav gloves w/40 grams of insultate. They would only work for awhile. With 200 grams it's really nice and toasty, because when ur hands and feet get cold the rest of u r missarable.The color is also good for a hunter who needs the added blaze in the field.
