It is made with soft and quite material, I use it on spot and stalk and predator hunts.A:Â
very soft and quite.A:Â
The fabric is like a twill. The zippers (alot of them) have strings tied to them that seem to help keep them from rattling. The buckles can be tucked away if necessary.A:Â
It does not. I have a smaller version of this pack and I have been very pleased with it.Q:Â

Does the Fanny pack come with the pack and what is the high of the bag without the fanny pack attached
Answers
A:Â
yes it does and I have not measured it but it does make it compact maybe 14 inches maxA:Â
This is a Two piece pack.. the fanny pack is detachable. 20" high 14" wide at the base. lots of room....A:Â
Seems to be the same size as the $19.99 backpack BP offers.A:Â
Yes it comes with the fanny pack. The fanny pack front has a belt hookup so it can be worn alone. When attached to the main pack the fanny-belt is a stabilizer for the combined pack. The main pack alone I can stretch a tape measure to around 16". With other stuff I can fit in a 14" handaxe.

I pack my heavy clothes for my walk in and change once I get close to my stand area. Need something big enough to handle all of my outer layers.Answers
A:Â
I don can drop down the fanny pack part and i don't know about bibs and jacket but you can roll one of them up and drop down the fanny part and put it there that is what i do. and it has loops on it to tie stuff to if need be.A:Â
No. Just hunting necessities that either you would put in your pockets or leave in the car.A:Â
Dont think pack would hold full winter bibs and jacket. I instead choose to put my layering, and base cloths in pack and wear just my bibs and jacket in. Then when arriving add my base layers under bibs and jacket. This works well and I can stay warm on stand for longer periods of time.A:Â
That will depend on 1) how thick is your outer layers and 2) are you carrying other things in the pack. With nothing else might fit both jacket and pants in the upper pack alone. Might fit the pants in the fanny and jacket in the upper.
With my pack with a load of tools, food, axe, poncho, etc I ended up tying my outer layer to the outside. Afterall they are the waterproof layer.
Suggestion: take your outer layer to the store and tell the customer service to have someone come with you to try stuffing them in one of the packs.
A:Â
i have packed mostly lunch stuff and extra clothes like heavier t shirt or layering clothes. I put in the fanny pack gloves calls extra shells and other odds and ends have packed my heavy coat between the fanny pack and bigger pack using the adjustable straps that are on the outside of the bag not sure about room for heavy pant though . I own a pair of red head heavy hunting pants the bone dry ones that pull the moisture away from your body and just one pair of long johns underneath and have not been cold in them even after a long walk swetting all the way. and sitting for 5 to 6 hrs in the snowA:Â
you could fit alot in here but i guess depends on how but it depends on what else you are bringing with you. the main compartment could fit a jacket but not to much else and same for the smaller sized on on the waist/bottom. if you plan on bringing alot you might want to get a bigger bag. hope this helpsDetails:Â
are the demensions internal or external and are they for the day pack by itself or both packs combined ?Answers
A:Â
bothA:Â
I believe it is the entire backpack assembled.A:Â
External and for the combined packs.Main pack alone I can stretch a tape measure to 16-17" tall. Will fit a 14" handaxe.
A:Â
Weight: 2.18 lbs. Dimensions: 23''H x 13''W x 7.75''D. and they are for the externalAnswers
A:Â

None that I know of.Details:Â
I just purchased a field organizer, it says with tech-lok, but all it has is a strap with velcro. Am I missing pieces?I have the hunt pack, is great pack by the way. I just wanted a small bag for license, assuming this would clip on pack, with extra rounds. The bladder is great item also. Can't go wrong with this hybrid hunt.

A:Â
Techlok work by using the velcro strap of the small pouch slid through the large pack strapping (many places). Then you velcro the small pouch strap back onto itself. Doesn't velcro to the main pouch. Rather the strap loops around and velcro closes the loop. Does flop a little though.I decided to just use the techlok on my belt so I can drop the pack and still have my licence on me.
A:Â
You slide the velcro strap through the little tabs on the waist pack.A:Â
If you're close to a store, see the Tech-Lok guide in the area with the packs. Otherwise I'll try to explain here.Undo the strap on the accessory and run it through a corresponding strap on the pack (it's basically a flat loop, one of four on the waist pack). Then run the strap through the rubberized slots on the accessory to "lock" it down and re-fasten the Velcro. No other parts are needed.

There is a place in the top of the backpack that says H20. A bladder hose could come through that.A:Â
YesYou buy it seperately. Cost about $20-$30 depending on size and quality. I use a 2Liter hydration bladder.
The main pack back wall has a pocket for the bladder. There is a covered flap to run the tube out of the back to your side. Shoulder strap has a hookup to store the tube.
A:Â
Yes. There's a slot it slides into.A:Â
yes, inside the the main pocket there is another pouch to put a water bladder.A:Â
yes, there is a specific place for a bladder to be placed inside the main compartmentA:Â
If you open the main compartment to the pack there's an envelope inside. You can place the bladder in that inside envelope and run the house out the hole at the very top.A:Â
there is a thin peice of material to seperate the bladder from the other content in the bagA:Â
Yes. There is a pocket for a bladder inside the main compartment and a hole in the top to run the drinking hose through.Answers

It has a lining in it. Whether it is water resistant I don't know. I sprayed mine on the outside with Camp Dry and that seems to help quite a bit.A:Â
YesVinyl or vinyl like. Not 100% sure what it is but looks and feels like vinyl.
Does have zippers so treat it as a water resistant (good for rain not dropping in a river).
A:Â
I bought this backpack in Nov. 2011 and just took it duck hunting. It has absolutely no waterproof properties at all. Every pocket was wet. Anything in the pockets was wet. I'm shopping for waterproof as I type this.A:Â
No, but the outer shell is water-resistant. Don't go swimming with it.A:Â
I wouldnt say it is vinyl. It does say that it is water resistant although I have not used it in the rain.A:Â
yes but still get wet inside.A:Â
yes it does,it seems pretty thick too.A:Â
not a lined backpackA:Â
it has taped seams which makes it water proofAnswers
A:Â
Yes it does.A:Â
Yes there is a thin sternum strap. The fannypack when connect acts as a waist strap too.
A:Â

It does. It is very adjustable and also has ample extra adjustment for larger or broad shouldered hunters.A:Â
