First of all it comes with no instructions. Doesn't tell you if the battery is still working on zero dial. Which it is only lasted one day with battery left in. Also batteries are included and the size they tell you that it takes isn't even close. So lucky it included the batteries. Work good til one fell out of ear and hit the ground and it quit working. Going to take them back and try one more time

im 51 years old and have worked road cont. all my life and have been around alot of loud noises that has damaged my ears and so on, at night when we sit down to watch tv i have to turn it up so loud that others are putting there fingers in there ears, and i was thinking of trying something like this and was wondering how long of battery life they have. ty
Yes they will help considerably. I did try them with the tv but I do not know the battry life while in use. I do know that I left the batteries in the units in what I thought was in the "off" position and when I tried to use them a couple of days later the batteries were dead and had to be replaced. So if you use them for tv I would recommend removing the batteries after each use.
It will vary depending on use. There is no way to give you a number. Product requires more power for sound enhancement or sound reduction. One of the reviews on this page talks about power usage, it may give you some insight.
