Rated 5 out of 5 by Rmarlow1 LOVE these boots!!
I wear work boots for work each week and must say that these are very comfortable. I also have Timberland and Wolverine work boots which cost quite a bit more, but for the price, these are an exceptional buy.

Nice boots. I have worn them several times. I didn't expect a lot from these Chinese boots. I like them. They are comfortable and they fit very well. I haven't been able to hike very far in them yet but I'm sure they will be up to some good hikes. I like that they are waterproof and I like the color. Well made boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 Good Value Good support "Hot Foot"
The Redhead Granite Peak is a good value at it's normal Price and an excellent Value on sale. Chose the Granite Peak over the less expensive Red Head Everest for it's Waterproof feature and a slightly better feel out of the box for me. the Sale price at the time was the determining Factor. After a few short hikes in 70 -80 degree weather I found the boot to fit well and have good support. My biggest negative is a "Hot Foot" effect. My best guess is the waterproof membrane is less breathable out of the box. I did notice when hiking in the cooler mornings in dewy grass ( wetting the boot slightly) the Hot foot was less pronounced. I'll update this review after a further break-in period to see if this lessens after a little more time and mileage. Overall though a decent boot and excellent sale value.
