Rated 5 out of 5 by RDav They just don't make 'em any better! I bought one pair, wore them for a few days... and then I bought another pair for when I wear this pair out... if I ever do. They are very comfortable, and very sturdy. I will never buy another "tennis shoe" again, as long as Redhead keeps making this quality of "hiking shoes." I'm not much for running, but for everyday use, and for fishing and light hunting, this is the shoe for me! November 16, 2010

A:I bought my pair online and size 11.5 nike is a 11.5 hiking boot. Fit perfectly. Do not jump the size up .5 or 1 or it will be too big. These fit perfectly and better yet they are really comfortable.
A:No they are not water proof. They are somewhat water resistant though - I've been sloshing them through some light snow today and they're doing fine.
A:No. They are a dry weather, light duty boot.
