Rated 5 out of 5 by Quicksilver Size I really like this shoe but I am returning it because it is too big for me. I actually wear a size 7 shoe but I bought the size 8 because I like the shoe. I sure wish Bass Pro and other companies would start selling smaller shoes for men. It just seems like us smaller guys do not have many options. Thanks. Mike. June 27, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by kadrik0 Great Hiking Boots These boots are very comfortable. Size wise they are right on. I'm an 11.5 and the 11.5 I bought from BassPro online fit perfectly. Plenty of support at the ankle. Nice and soft interior. The bottom of the shoe is nice and thick with great treading. I know there are better boots out there, but for the buck these are comfortable while still being a rugged hunting boot. I cannot comment on durability since I've only used them a few weeks, but these shoes required no breaking in. I highly recommend these boots. Great for hiking. November 1, 2011

A:Yes, I wear a 9 and ordered mine and the fit was great
A:For me, these ran waaaay big. I wear anywhere from an 11 to a 12 depending on brand and type of shoe, but I got these in a 10. I probably would have been happy with a 10.5 also.
A:i got a 11.5 should have gotten an 11
A:I bought my pair online and size 11.5 nike is a 11.5 hiking boot. Fit perfectly. Do not jump the size up .5 or 1 or it will be too big. These fit perfectly and better yet they are really comfortable.
A:No they are not water proof. They are somewhat water resistant though - I've been sloshing them through some light snow today and they're doing fine.
A:No. They are a dry weather, light duty boot.
Details:I am going to be going to a three day backpacking trip which is 16 and a half miles long and it has slopes but not large mountain slopes..... So i was wondering would these be a good find for this backpacking trip? And are they waterproof? I dont remember finding it in the information given. Thanks
A:They don't have a lot of ankle support - may be something to consider. Not waterproof
A:I would have no problem hiking in theses, as for waterproof, no but with the addition of repelent they might be ok. I havent tried that yet but am in the near future
