RedHead Full-Body Canada Goose Decoys - Standard Pack
Economical if you can live with the issues
They do look good in the field, the base has been changed from the plastic to a one piece all steel one, much better, less chance of losing the pieces or breaking in the minus tempatures we get up in canada. The neck cutout in the body has rough molding and the heads would not fit until I filed each one, had the same problem with the Red Head shells as well. The paint was chipping off the tails the first time out and the body paint is starting to rub off the wing areas just from being in the carry bags(Red Head bags, got one FA Brand bag and it has much more room in it and they fit much nicer). The legs should be part of the body moulding as they keep popping off when being transported and moved around in the bags, try finding them in the bottom of the bag in the dark when setting up is a pain, would help if the Red Head bags where made a little larger , you have to fight to get them in with the legs and that is causing them to have the pressure applied to the legs and them popping off. If these issues are addressed there would be no question about purchasing them, however, if you can't afford the Other name brands then these do the job and look really good and life like. I may just take the legs off, I don't think it makes any difference to the geese, and I was out with an other hunter and he had really top end full bodies and the base rod just goes in the bottom and the decoy can spin 360 degrees, so these legs are only stoppers as I see it to keep the decoy moving side to side and not spinning all the way around. I will purchase more, it would just be better if the mentioned issues were resolved.

Worth the money
These decoys are definately not GHG quality, but they are less than half price.
Cons: The stands are pretty cheap, the paint is fragile (if you get them and the paint is falling off, return them because I bought 3 boxes, one had bad paint and the other two were fine), and the legs and heads come off almost too easy, so you have to be careful not to lose them.
Pros: The motion is awesome! Better than just about any decoy I have seen, The flocking and paint is very realistic (while the paint is on them)
They are nicer than most other low dollar decoys. If you take very good care of these dekes they will last and look good.
I use them for diversity in my spread, they work well and don't cost too much, but they won't last like some other brands.

Yea, the paint doesn't hold up as well as other decoys on the market, but, they don't cost $35.00 each either. They work well in my area, a little paint chip here and there is not going to spook the geese I'm hunting away! So for a little money and a decent return these decoys work just fine! I have to re - paint decoys every year anyway.... Good luck in the field!

pretty good stuff
Set them out and they worked fine. No flares, lots of action, and nice motion in a slight breeze. Paint is a little weak, but not bad if you are careful with them.
