Ridge Hunter Folding Saw
I have owned every brand and style of folding saw and this saw by far is the best I've ever purchased. ( tip) keep it cleaned and oiled after every use and it will last many hunting seasons.

Not as advertised
I don't right reviews often but at this time when i ordered this product in the description it claims to have a 7" blade. When i received the item in the mail on the package itself it says "blade length: 5 7/8 inch". If i would have known that it only had a 5 7/8 inch blade I doubt I would have ordered it. And for the $9.99 price point I didn't feel like going through the hassle of returning it. So I kept it and have used it a few times. The saw was sharp and has remained sharp after the few tasks I have done, it does seem to cut pretty well for its size. It is compact and has a metal insert in the handle at the pivot point of the blade. So it should not wear out like the saws with no metal insert. The blade is fairly thin but is still pretty rigid so the blade doesn't hang up as much as the flimsier blades. The case is nothing great but can be worn vertical or horizontal on the belt. Overall it is a decent compact folding saw for the price. Would I buy it again? Maybe.

what i was looking for
the saw was what i was looking for to trim those little branches that are always in your shooting lanes. cut up to2 inch limbs very effectively. also liked that it locked open . easy and safe to use.

Redhead Folding Saw
My first folding saw was a Gerber, very good, lasted for years. When it finally wore out, I ordered another only to find the quality much reduced. The blade was much thinner and when the saw jammed the blade would bend permanently and soon was an "S" bend. The handle soon cracked and I managed to repair it. This Redhead saw is more robust and although I have not used it a lot it, is much closer to the original Gerber quality
