Two years ago, after sitting on the ground with my back against a tree for a few days, I vowed to have a "comfy chair" the following hunting season. Well, the following hunting season came and I didn't have a "comfy chair." Instead I had purchased a foam cushion with a strap for tying to a tree. After last season, I again vowed to have a "comfy chair" the following season. I bought the Red Head Directors Chair, and my, oh my, is it a "comfy chair!" Plenty of room for me (I'm not a large framed fella though) and comfortable enough to sleep in. The only draw-back is that it makes some noise setting up, but perhaps a break-in period and/or some WD-40 can remedy that.
Good job Red Head, and thanks in advance for saving my back this season!

This chair turned out to be more quality than I ever expected at this price.

Bought two of these to put in my ground blinds to replace the triangle ones that get uncomfortable. Bad idea. Although they are ten times more comfortable, they are poor for ground blind hunting. Everytime i move, they creak and pop very loudly. Plus, beings the sides are metal, I was constantly banging my release against them. Not very good when you have deer twenty yards away. For turkey hunting, they wouldn't bother me a bid, although they aren't meant for run and gun turkey hunting because they are bulky. Took both back. Guess I'll just suffer in the uncomfortable little triangle chairs until i can find something better.

I got this chair on sale, so for the price i could not pass it up. I was going to use it in my blind that i bought but it was too bulky and the chair squeeks pretty loud. will make for a decent chair around the camp fire.
