Working outdoors during snow removel my feet woul get cold sitting on tractor for a couple hours. Thats the reason for the perchase. One of the smarter things ive done. The heated socks kept my feet warm the intire time i was outside. They were not sweating like i thought they might just nice and warm. I've worn them around the house also not a chill all that day. A nice fit too.

The other reviews are right, they barely get warm at all........which is all you need. Sitting in a deer stand all day in 0-20 degree weather, you're feet are going to get cold. The little bit of warmth you get from these can be all the edge you need to be able to stay in your stand. I wear polypro liners, these socks and 1600 or 2000 gram thinsulate boots. I agree that walking in them would be a bad idea since the batteries would pull your socks down and the wires can rub your feet. They aren't tall enough to fit inside rubber boots. They do fit inside boots better than the socks with the heat pack pockets on them. I don't run them all the time just when I need a little supplemental heat to keep my feet from getting too uncomfortable.

very bad product. does not work. does not generate enough heat to be noticeable. a sngle D size battery does not contain enough energy to power a heating element for 5-6 hours like they claime. do yourself a favor and dont buy this product.

Reviews state they do not work - if they don't work, can they be returned?Answers
A:Â
Yes, they state so if you do not put them on. I only put my hand inside, but I think that may be considered putting them on. You have to totally destroy the package to open it up.A:Â
