I wore these with the parka during the 2011 season. I do all day sits and these were especially handy to have on the rainy day and on the cold days i could not have done an all day sit without these bibs. I have read reviews that talk about the fabric ripping on briars, now, because of that i am especially careful in the thickets that i would normally just truck through and so far i haven't ripped anything, so don't get the impression that they are delicate I just think of your careful you will be okay, if you hunt the really thick stuff I would maybe look at something else. I fell into a creek bed with them and slid on my knees and if the sun hits them just right you can see where a little fabric has been scuffed off, but it's still waterproof and everything. zipper zips up and down which is really helpful during all day sits, cause eventually i'll have to go and it helps if you really really gotta go, probably wouldn't have made it a couple times if i had to take everything off. My only complaint is the buckle on the bib straps. It is not designed like normal buckles and they are really hard to unbuckle with cold fingers or in the dark when you haven't used them before, i would suggest you practice using them before your standing on the edge of a field trying to beat the sun like i was. I am 6'1" 165lbs with 32X34 pants and the large size fit best.

THE BIBS LOOK GOOD AND FEEL GOOD WHEN FIRST PURCHASED. AFTER MY FIRST TRIP IN THE WOODS THEY HAD SMALL HOLES FROM BRIARS. I HAVE HAD THEM FOR ONE YEAR AND NOW IF IT RAINS I AM SOAKING WET FROM THE LEAKS. THE PARKA IS HEAVIER MATERIAL AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Worn two days in Kansas pheasant fields...22 degree temps and 12 kt winds. Well worth the purchase, design is functional, comfortable and warm. No moisture involved.

As I watched the rest of the hunters attempt to stay warm, I was struggling to stay awake. I did not overheat nor get cold. Made the cold weather elements non-existent.

The leg zippers are long all the way to the waist but ... if you havent "FELT" of the material that these bibs are made you should. They are NOT rugged ! They are very thin made and tear very easily. You should re-consider your bib choice. Burrs and crushed fall leaves also stick to these things like super glue ! Hope this helps !
